Follow your Heart for a Better Life

If there is one quote that could change the way you live life and help you live a better life, I think it could be this one from Steve Jobs. 
"Remembering that I'll be dead soon is the most important tool I've ever encountered to help me make the big choices in life. Because almost everything- all external expectations, all pride, all fear of embarrassment of failure - these things just fall away in the face of death, leaving only what is truly important. Remembering that you are going to die is the best way I know to avoid the trap of thinking you have something to lose. You are already naked. There is no reason not to follow your heart." - Steve Jobs.
Honestly speaking this man discovered a greater treasure than all his wealth put together, it would be his understanding of the purpose of life. It is in the face of death that you discover the greatest truths about living. 

When you are exposed and there is nowhere to hide, it is easy to do the things that you ought to have been doing - Following your heart.

Ultimately, you have to face yourself, your achievements, your accolades your worldly treasures will not come to your aid in those final moments, when you stare truth in the face. Maybe your regrets and all that you could have done will come before you in a long procession, looking askance at you. 

Follow your heart, make each moment count, give yourself the freedom to follow your heart. 

Take time to relax, to smile, to let peace fill your heart, to laugh from your heart. As the saying goes - Take time to smell the roses. 

Life brings with it responsibilities and needs, but none of them are greater than the dreams placed in your heart. Live without regrets.

Make the right choices, don't wish to undo the past. Your time is now. The minute that has just gone by is lost forever, there is very little you can change about it.

As  for me, my greatest wish would be, that I have loved all, forgiven all, made a difference in someone's life and lived each moment happily. 

Maybe not everyone will love you back, or forgive you, or even accept you for who you are, but it wouldn't really matter as long as I have given it my best shot. I will move on in peace.
