The strength that is there within can only be tested at times like these. Benumbed by pain, devastated by life you know not only yourself, but those who stand by you, those who will remain with you always.
I have much to thank my husband for. He is indeed the strength of my life. My children who have stood with me in pain, my friends with their unending support, my God who is above all things.
What more do you I need in life than such love? I stand in awe, thankful and truly humbled in my heart. My debt seems to be ever rising. I hope I will someday repay it with love.
I can only say joy and grief bring balance and harmony to life...
“Hearts united in pain and sorrow will not be separated by joy and happiness. Bonds that are woven in sadness are stronger than the ties of joy and pleasure. Love that is washed by tears will remain eternally pure and faithful.” ~ Khalil Gibran
Your joy is your sorrow unmasked. And the selfsame well from which your laughter rises was oftentimes filled with your tears. And how else can it be? ~ Khalil Gibran
And when the storm comes, and the mighty wind shakes the forest, and thunder and lightning proclaim the majesty of the sky, - then let your heart say in awe, "God moves in passion." ~ Khalil Gibran
And since you are a breath In God's sphere, and a leaf in God's forest, you too should rest in reason and move in passion. ~ Khalil Gibran
"The dance of life finds its beginnings in grief......Here a completely new way of living is revealed. It is the way in which pain can be embraced, not out of a desire to suffer, but in the knowledge that something new will be born in the pain."~ Henry Nouwen
Your pain is the breaking of the shell that encloses your understanding. Even as the stone of the fruit must break, that its heart may stand in the sun, so must you know pain. ~ Khalil Gibran
Thanks for the nice job. I would like to say I am impressed in my first sight here.
